Misty Miller
Conductor, The Spring Star Arts Children's Choir
Misty Miller has been directing children’s choirs in the Dallas area for the past 12 years. After graduating from Stephen F. Austin State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education in 1995, Mrs. Miller moved to Plano, where she taught middle school choir for the next nine years. She was recently named director for the new Children’s Choir of Greater Dallas “Neighborhood Chorus Program.” Mrs. Miller has also directed the Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s “Christmas Celebration Children’s Chorus” for the past 3 years. In addition, she keeps busy as a clinician and freelance conductor, working with various choirs in the DFW area throughout the year. Misty lives in Frisco with her husband and 5-year-old son, Evan.
